Terms & Conditions
Please ensure you have carefully read through and understand all the Terms & Conditions below before hiring a garment from Thankyou Next Hire. By placing an order with Thankyou Next Hire you are admitting to a legally binding contract between both Thankyou Next Hire and yourself. Upon your hire purchase with Thankyou Next Hire you are agreeing to follow all practices outlined in the Terms & Conditions. Thankyou Next Hire reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions at any time without notice to you. ("we", "our", "us" ) refer to Thankyou Next Hire. "client" ("you", "your", "their") refers to the client of Thankyou Next Hire.
BOOKINGS AND HIRES
Thankyou Next Hire needs 2 business days before your event date to process your booking. If you need to book a late booking, Thankyou Next Hire needs to be advised ASAP.
An address is required with every booking. P.O. Boxes are not accepted as the primary address.
Depending on the retail price of the garment a bond may be taken and processed to be returned to the hirer right after the garment is returned to Thankyou Next Hire. This bond return process can take up to 3 business days (can be longer depending on your bank holder).
HIRES REQUIRING POSTAGE
Thankyou Next Hire requires a minimum of 4 business days notice to allow for processing and/or postage.
If a hirer would like to make a late booking, Thankyou Next Hire must be notified asap.
All postage orders will be express posted, please select your dates as required and we will plan accordingly to ensure your garment arrives in time for your event.
If hirer lives in a rural area, Thankyou Next Hire must be notified. Additional postage time is required.
Please keep in mind, there may be creasing during the postage process. If this occurs, please contact Thankyou Next Hire.
If an order is placed less than 4 business days before the hire dates, and it does not arrive on time, no refund or store credit will be given.
With the delivery of the hire garment, a pre paid return label and instructions will be provided. If the prepaid return label is lost, the hirer is responsible to EXPRESS POST the garment back to Thankyou Next Hire at an AusPost office (please notify us if this happens)
If the return date falls on a Sunday, please express post on Monday morning.
An address is required with every booking regardless of if the dress is booked for pick up or postage. P.o. boxes will not be accepted as the only address.
WEARING OUR GARMENTS
Upon your purchase, you will receive an instructions card on how to properly care for your hire garment. Please read through this carefully before wearing your designer piece.
The hirer must treat the garment with care and respect and no alterations are to be made to the garment. Please do not steam or iron any garments without permission from Thankyou Next Hire.
We are fine with you using fashion tape with your rental, but we do ask that once your event is over you very carefully take the fashion tape off the garment. If this is not after your event the adhesive can transfer onto the garment causing damage (fees will apply if this occurs, sadly we are not able to remove the adhesive ourselves, the garment will need to be taken to the dry cleaners for professional cleaning).
We understand that outfits can look best with fake tan, but please ensure you wash off the top layer of tan - If the top layer of tan is not washed off your tan will significantly transfer onto the garment. This can cause permanent staining to the garment (unfortunately fees do apply if the garment is stained).
RETURNING YOUR HIRE GARMENT
All hire garments MUST be returned UNWASHED and the hirer MUST make Thankyou Next Hire aware of any damages or marks made during their hire period.
Please DO NOT try and wash or fix any garments, a cleaning fee is included in the original hire purchase price. We take care of our hire pieces and we understand accidents can happen but please DO NOT try and clean the garment piece yourself as in most cases this can lead to further staining/damage. If the garment is returned unfixable Thankyou Next Hire has the right to charge the full retail price of the gown to replace it. If you have stained your hire garment we ask that you please let us know before the garment is returned.
The hirer must return the garment by 4 pm on the return date of the booking. Do not leave the garment unattended at the drop off location without permission from Thankyou Next Hire. It is the hirers responsibility to arrange a time to drop off the garment with Thankyou Next Hire.
If the hire garment requires additional cleaning, repairs, or replacement, Thankyou Next Hire has the right to charge the hirer the cost of damages, this includes the original retail price of the garment. It does not matter if the dress is not brand new, the hirer will be charged for this replacement.
If the garment hired has been damaged beyond repair and a replacement cannot be bought, the hirer will be charged the full cost of any and all hires booked after, that need to be cancelled due to their fault.
HIRE PICK-UPS
Thankyou Next Hire is a pick-up and drop-off-only service.
All hire orders are to be picked up from BOWEN HILLS, 4006 - unless organised otherwise. The exact address will be provided within the order confirmation sent to your email after the hire purchase is made.
Pick-up times are between 9 am-4 pm on the day designated to your booking purchase. You will have the option to select a time within this window -if you cannot make this time window please notify Thankyou Next Hire ASAP.
All orders MUST be returned before 4 pm on the return date. A late fee will be charged if dress is not returned on time.
If your garment is not collected, you will not be given a refund or store credit.

TRY-ON APPOINTMENTS
Try on's are available by appointment only! If you want to make a try-on appointment with Thankyou Next Hire, you will need to book via our online booking system on our website.
Try-on appointments cost a small fee of $10. This small fee is redeemable towards your hiring purchase (eg. if your garment costs $110 to hire, you only have $100 left to pay!) This fee is non-refundable for cancellations, no shows or unsuccessful try-ons.
To redeem this $10 fee, please contact via on instagram @thankyounexthire (a one time code will be given). If you don't ask us for the code, the $10 will not be deducted from your hire purchase.
Each appointment is strictly 30 minutes only and one person trying per appointment time.
Please make sure you arrive on time to maximise your trying time. If you arrive late to your appointment, this will cut into your trying time. You can bring family/friends with you, please note that the try on space is too small for bigger parties so in this case we only allow yourself and up to 2 guests.
Try-ons are local only - postal try ons are not available. Before your try on please let us know what garments you are wanting to try, we will do our absolute best to make sure they are available for your appointment. If the garment you wish to hire is booked during your appointment time, you will be contacted regarding cancelling or rescheduling your appointment.
We strongly recommend to avoid this happening, book your try on during the week. Most of our hires are booked over the weekend so the chances of the garment being hired for your try on appointment are quite high. Please check with us for garment availability prior to booking your appointment.
Please note: Try on bookings does not hold your garment for hire - to secure your hire a full payment must be made.
HIRE PERIOD EXTENSION
Hire periods are generally over 3 days (1 day before your event, the day of your event, and 1 day following - Return day).
Upon request, you can extend your hire period - subject to availability. Please email (thankyounextdresshire@gmail.com) or DM (@thankyounexthire) to request and organise an extension to your hire purchase. An additional charge of 25% of the original hire purchase will be taken with each additional day to the extension period.
If the hire garment is not returned by 4pm on the day of the return - charges will be applied
CANCELLATIONS/EXCHANGES MADE BY HIRER
All bookings made with Thankyou Next Hire are non-refundable and have a 100% cancellation fee.
If you would like to make a cancellation, Thankyou Next Hire must be notified 7 days prior to your booking made with us. A cancellation fee will be admitted and you will receive a full store credit via email - PLEASE NOTE, STORE CREDIT IS NOT A REFUND.
Store Credits are valid for 1 year and can only be used once - you cannot cancel a store credit hire and receive the same credit back.
IF THE HIRER HAS KEPT THE HIRE GARMENT OVER THE HIRE PERIOD BUT DOES NOT WEAR THE GARMENT - NO REFUND/CREDIT IS GIVEN.
CANCELLATIONS/EXCHANGES MADE BY THANKYOU NEXT HIRE
Thankyou Next Hire may experience external factors that may prevent a hire booking from being fulfilled. With this, Thankyou Next Hire reserves the right to cancel the hirer's booking.
Reasons Thankyou Next Hire may cancel hirers booking include, but are not limited to:
- The garment is damaged, lost, or stolen by a previous hirer.
- The garment is unable to be collected in time for the booking, due to late return by the previous hirer.
- The hirer is disobliging to Terms & Conditions of Thankyou Next Hire.
GARMENT CONDITION
When hiring, please do not expect the garment to be in brand new condition. Our garments are regularly hired so may have general wear, however we will not hire out dirty or clearly damaged garments.
